 We have been given the exciting opportunity to have a
Children’s Centre in Moredon.
The centre will be built and open by April 2008 on the ground next to the primary school.
We will be providing support to parents of children under 5 in the area, opportunities for play, learning and support. Once the building is open we will be registering a full day care facility in September 2008. This will provide childcare from 8am till 6pm through the whole year, with sessions available for flexibility.
We are currently based in the school with a Toddler Group on Wednesday afternoons (term time) 50p per person (over 1yr) with craft and healthy snack, plus various other groups in the area, Family Fun, Working together with Parents, Story Sacks. (see Parenting Support on Main Community page)
 
The team is made up of:
Kay White Children’s Centre Coordinator, Tiffany Stephen Family Support Worker and Maria Neesom Administrator.
We are currently looking to employ a Fathers worker and more staff when the building opens.
