 STOP PRESS: In May I was invited to a reception at No. 10 Downing Street to celebrate the work of Children's Centres nationally. I met Gordon Brown, Edd Balls and Beverley Hughes and in his speech Mr Brown praised us for developing and making happen his pioneering idea for a 'Sure Start for all children'. I was selected for my work in Moredon, delivering high quality services to families whilst in temporary accommodation awaiting our new building. It was a wonderful opportunity to see inside the house and an honour to be recognised for doing work that I enjoy. Kay White
